About EMPGaming

History of EMPGaming

EMPGaming was created by HaZal2d0uS and co-founded with Sean Price. We first made our intentions clear that we would dominate the CS:S gaming arena before we moved onto other games, and started our first server, DUST2.

Very shortly we had a large demand for people that had previously played competitive and others that wanted to get involved, so we reacted to this quickly by acquiring our second server, SCRIM.

By the end of our third month we had acquired our first sponsorship, and this opens up the horizon for our third CS:S server. What it's going to be is currently up for debate by The Community! Voice your opinion on what you'd like to see EMPGaming supporting next on the forums!

EMPGaming's Goals/Mission

From the beginning, a list was made that comprised of what HaZal2d0uS & Sean Price wanted EMPGaming to become. We have never hidden this, and it was in our grand opening announcement on the forums.

The goals/mission from the beginning:
Strong Community - We want to have people that enjoy being here with »[εmρ]« members and regular pub players. We value all people who help »[εmρ]« in all shapes and forms.
Activity! - If »[εmρ]« has a huge amount of activity, this means we're doing something right, and we will continue to replicate this so we can continue to grow and stay active.
Have Server(s) - Our goal to start with is to have a main server of de_dust2 and possibly others later on, but our focus will be getting 1 active server first. If our budget allows us, we will expand at a slow rate.
Scrim Team - There is a large interest in a Scrim Team for »[εmρ]« and we will be doing our best to get practice sessions and tryouts going soon.
A Fun Environment - We are playing these games for fun. We would like you to as well. Please keep the environment as friendly as possible, and don't ruin other peoples fun.

Since then, we've also expanded some goals such as:
Respect - This was added to our Server Rules, which you are encouraged to read and follow on all EMPGaming areas.
No Fear! - We don't want any recruits, members, or admins to fear anyone else, in any situation. You will never be demoted, banned, or the like for voicing your opinion on issues. This clan was created so we don't have all the decision making, we encourage your thoughts to help better our community.
Recognition - We want EMPGaming to be a well known CS:S clan, community, and gaming place. We do this by having active servers, a large member base, sponsorships, and much more!

EMPGaming & The Community

EMPGaming was created so friends and others can come to a gaming environment and please as many people as possible. We know that we won't succeed with this 100%, but our community satisfaction is one of our top priorities. We want people to enjoy their time with us, and keep coming back. Staying active on the forums will show you that EMPGaming really does want the community to be satisfied, we ask you what servers you want next, we offer scrim teams and a scrim server, etc...
