Respect and Harassment

Elite Military Personnel!

In the past week we have had a lot of problems that Council had not anticipated to happen, but now that these events have taken place, we are learning from them and adapting! So, please learn these new rules, procedures, and definitions along with us and adapt to be a better EMPGaming community.

Respect & Harassment
This is copy/pasted from the rules on the forums.
Respect all Players - We are here to enjoy the game! If someone asks you to stop disrespecting them, consider that the best time to stop whatever you're doing.
This means EVERYONE, and especially our own recruits, members, admins, and council. You should definitely not disrespect people above you! This includes the 13 year olds, women, regular pub players, clan members, etc... Nobody in this community will be tolerated with if you can't respect others in the community, we do not care about your skill or abilities. If you can't act mature and respect people you're not needed in this community.
Harassment goes right alongside respect, neither is acceptable.

Procedures
If you're being disrespected or harassed by someone, do the following:
1. Ask them to stop.
2. If they don't stop, find an admin.
3. If there's no admin on, collect the evidence of the disrespect and/or harassment
4. Admins, if this is a member of EMPGaming, you ban them immediately. All members should know our rules and abide by them. If a non-member is disrespecting or harassing someone, warn them first and if they continue then ban.
NOTE: Not once does it say in this procedure to disrespect them back! Doing so is breaking the rules. How are Admins and Council supposed to do their jobs by getting the person if you do it back? For example... If we were to ban the person that was disrespecting you initially, but you disrespected them back but you weren't banned. Why should we not ban or kick you? The reasoning is simple for this... therefore don't expect us to do anything against a person that was disrespecting or harassing you if you do it back!

Knowing a Joke from Disrespect or Harassment
Many of us in this clan like to joke about things that would be considered disrespect or harassment if we didn't know each other. The simple base of this being acceptable is because we know each other, and know that it's not disrespect. If you can't shrug off a joke that might be considered disrespect to yourself, ask the person to stop. If we were ever asked to stop saying or doing something, we would stop! Don't be afraid to ask someone that is higher ranked than you to stop! And if they don't stop, follow the above procedures.

Consequences of Breaking the Rules
If you are caught breaking this specific rule on our forums, servers, ventrilo, anywhere... The minimum server ban will be 1 month. This is not to be taken lightly. Cases will be considered and dealt with on a case by case basis. For the most part, if you're disrespecting people in this clan, you will most likely be kicked from the clan and banned permanently.

for all who have played with me in our servers just know that my personality/humor during games is 100% kidding for a fun enviornment!! and if i ever offend yall let me know and ill stop(at least towards that certain person! lol)

You're never going to get in trouble automatically for acting the way you do. (or anyone else)
Many of us have a "fuck you" kind of attitude that we project to others. For the most part, people take it as a joke, which is how it should be done.
Now, you can get in trouble if the person doesn't accept this sort of "behavior" ... but as long as you understand it from their view that they want you to stop, all should be good.
Knowing when to stop is a very necessary thing people just don't seem to have all the time.

anyways i have a very fun loving aura!! every1 that plays with me knows all that cussing and stuff is just me trying to make a more fun/humerous environment!
